Scandic Harstad (Adults Only)

The room was big with a lovely view, right in the centre of town. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Traffic noise if you leave the window open.

Not far from Grottebadet As and Grottebadet Waterpark. We totally recommend it with confidence. Taste the food in Karma, you only need to walk 100 feet to reach it.

The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated near the harbour and the touristic center of Harstad. The bathroom was renovated, big and clean, had a big shower and floor heating. For breakfast you had a great variety of food to choose from.

The room itself was clean, but the furnishings and the equipment was a bit old. (No real cupboard, old (but comfortable) bed, one of the power outlets was a bit loosely) There was not mini bar, no water heater with coffee, no hair dryer. The started to clean the rooms at 8:30 a.m. which was a bit early for my taste. Only a few parking spaces in a very narrow parking house. Otherwise you could only park on public parking areas (which is free if you have a foreign registration plate, or from 17 p.m (15p.m. on weekends) until 8 a.m.

When arriving at 20.45 we were told there was no restaurant facilites available and that the Reception was in the middle of a re- furbishment and the actual newly finished Reception was te one advertised on the Website.

the breakfast is "tops"...the best of at least the 20 hotels in Norway I have been to. The staff are very socialble, and want you in Harstad...!

The staff members were attentive. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions.

The coffee selection was quite limited and did not taste fresh.

Accommodating and friendly staff.

We had to change rooms multiple times due to various problems. The last room had an unclean shower that required my intervention, completely unacceptable after a long day.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the lovely sea view during our trip to Lofoten. The clean room had tea and coffee available, and we appreciated the heated floors .

In my wife's opinion, the parking situation could improve.

Charming Stay with Cozy Comforts!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, especially the delicious breakfast with Norwegian specialties. The staff's warm hospitality. Be sure to enjoy a cup of hot tea in the cozy room while admiring the view of Harstad Havn. Remember, early morning parking can be tricky!

I stayed there for one night while passing through harstad, and the experience exceeded my previous stay. The breakfast featured fresh pastries and local dishes that were good. The staff was attentive and genuinely accommodating.

The breakfast was amazing, offering fresh and interesting options every morning. The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to the hurtigruten ferry. The service provided by the reception staff was great.
